I have a timeshare at Grand Timber Lodge that I am not able to use this upcoming year.

This is the week before Easter and usually fits with school break. Normally there's decent snow and decent temps at this time of year.

It's set up with a master bedroom/bath and full kitchen and living room. Then an adjoining bedroom/bathroom with kitchenette.

Grand timber has a ton of amenities; Spa, Bar and Restaurant, arcade, movie theatres, pools, hot tubs, wet and dry sauna, Ski in/ Ski out and a shuttle to take you anywhere around Breckenridge. If driving a vehicle up, it has a garage to park the vehicle for the week.

$1,600 for the week

This is a tough one since most (all?) kids are in school that week. It has 4 beds, but sleeps 10? Are you putting three people in a bed?

Have done Grand Timber a couple of times. That is a great price, OP.

I'd consider it if I hadn't already booked a trip in February elsewhere.

Sorry typo. Fits 8. The main suite has a master bedroom with a king bed (2) , and then kitchen/ living room that has a pull out couch that sleeps 2. Then in the adjoining studio it has a queen bed (2) and pull out sofa next to it (2).

Yes 2 pull out sofas. One in master suite and one in adjoining studio.

Wife and I stayed at Grand Timber right after Thanksgiving. Nice place.

How much of the mountain is usually open that time of year for skiing?

It's honestly just contingent upon snow. Normally all Five Peaks at the resort are open through mid-end of April, but the resort typically starts to scale back operations towards the end of the month, with the majority of accessible terrain concentrated on Peaks 7 and 8, while lower peaks like 6 and 10 may close earlier.

This is false, live nearby. Peak 9 that is located near GTL will not be open for half of this week just FYI. Monday April 14th they move to peaks 6,7,8 only. Thanks for sharing this link. I could not find an updated one for 2025. Understand that most of the terrain is contingent on snow accumulation. For anyone that wants to/can take a ski trip in April, you are going to be hard pressed to find a room at a resort in Breck for $271/night. Right now on GTL website they are sold out for that week on 2 bedrooms. I just got back from Breck for Mardi Gras break and I'm just looking to offload my scheduled week in April.
