I am getting back into playing golf now that my kids are older and I have more time/money. Also helps my kids like it too.

The dilemma is I don't want to pay the exorbitant prices for some of these brand new clubs.

So if anyone has some gently used clubs, I would love to buy them. I am about as standard/average as it comes. Would need a stiff flex on the shafts too.

If you have any interest in older, classic sticks, I have a set of Titleist DCIs that could be had for free in Richardson. Not sure about flex or grip condition, but hard to beat for the price. Let me know if you are interested.

Average players use regular flex shaft.

As I understand it there is no real standard among manufacturers for shaft flex. My source is a guy from the Taylor Made custom facility for pros on a YouTube video.

For those with experience at 2nd Swing, what is your perspective on the typical value (pricing for the club tier and condition)?

if at all possible i recommend buying peer to peer. Sites like 2nd swing and Golf roots ((Aggie owned), still apply a significant retail markup

Not to promote anything I started but on the golf board I started a swap meet thread for stuff just like this. I'm constantly buying and trading clubs and other stuff and if you can do it directly you'll always get a better deal

I have a couple sets to pick from as well if you don't find what you need. Mizuno JPX 900s and Titleist AP2's. Both sets are stiff.
