That thing looks like it would flood in a light fog.

Look again. The house is Way above the lake on a pad. See the elevation change of the fence in both directions from the house to the lake. The fence is 4 or 5 feet tall so I'll guess the home is 10 feet higher in elevation than the lake. Big drop off to the lake. Beautiful place.

Your statement is incorrect.

House is significantly higher than the lake full level.

Land is outside the 100 year flood plain and I built up a 2 foot tall pad prior to building the slab.
I had an Engineering Company perform a certified elevation survey confirming elevations plus elevation can be confirmed on FEMA flood plain maps.

I lived there since 1990. Gravel driveway was dry in Hurricane Harvey flooding. Photos showing high water mark are in the listing.
