Going to Astros-Rangers Sunday. 1:10 start. I pretty much don't know my way around downtown Houston. Taking an Aggie buddy who has some mobility limitations so hoping to find reasonably close parking. Suggestions? Buy parking in advance or easy enough to find day of? Best time to arrive downtown for 1:10 start? TIA.

metered street parking is free all day sunday. if that doesn't work out, nearby surface lots will be plentiful and probably affordable for a sunday game

When I take someone with mobility issues I park in the lot right across Texas Ave from the park. $45 pay at meter station and getting there an hour or so before is usually fine.

I parked herefor $15 ($17 with fees) a few weeks ago. I was surprised I was able to park that close for less than $20. There were places charging $40+ only a block closer.
