We will be in Nepal doing some church work for a week and then we head to Kenya for another week. The weather looks awesome, 52-74 each day.

DO you have any recommendations?

Clothes?
Bug spray?
Hats?

etc.

Budget?
Ages / Genders (if known - LOL)
Must see bucket list items?

My Kenya Safari was 2 weeks in March - 40 years ago.

Seeing a Cheetah kill is one of the coolest things I've ever seen but... there's no way to guarantee that you'll see one. And to see it happen live (which I did not, I only saw the aftermath) is even more rare.

Other great memories are pink flamingos (more than you can possibly imagine) at Lake Nakuru and who could forget two lions taking care business at Amboseli.

I also got to hear an elephant trumpet sound when it got spooked. Amazing opportunities in Kenya.

I think the old Masai Mara tented camp is no longer in operation but it looks like these days there are plenty of other options which are more in the realm of glamping:

Another possible place to check out is Tsavo

We did not go to Treetops because they didn't take kids at the time. But it looks like they're still going.
