The wife and I are looking for travel ideas for a Sunday-Saturday week in June or July of next year. Its the first time all our kids can stay at a weeklong overnight camp. We want to stay in the states in case something happens.

It would be our first time traveling without kids in 10 years. We enjoy national parks and not into the Vegas scene.

Northwest - Olympic NP and either North Cascades or Ranier

Northeast - Bar Harbor & Acadia

North - Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Mackinac Island up to Pictured Rocks)

Northern California - Napa & the Redwoods (Or just the Redwoods NP and State Parks)

Monterey/Pinnacles/Big Sur or just drive Pacific Coast Highway

Lake Tahoe/Truckee

South Dakota - Custer State Park, Badlands, Wind Cave

Fancy hotel in the mountains like park city.

Can be lazy by the pool/hike, good food.

Montana. So many options.

Bozeman
Missoula
Whitefish/Kalispell.
Northern Idaho is also incredibly beautiful.
