Looking at a family flight to Italy this summer. Non-stop from IAH to Rome on ITA is not just the only non-stop for the dates we want but also $500 cheaper than United/American, etc. with a layover. Any reason I wouldn't book ITA?
I have no experience, but I looked them up just yesterday for clients. Just know they charge for seat fees, so you need to factor that into your pricing. I guess once I went through the process, it wasn't that much cheaper than some of the other carriers.
Flew them from Paris to Rome last year with no issue. It's just a rebirth of the former Alitalia Airways that was the flagship Italian carrier (think KLM, British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa, but for Italy).
