we are planning a move and since the weather has been so terrible this weekend, decided to pack some things. Opened a drawer in a hutch and found Traveling Ags pictures from Germany trip and Russia trip from 15 yrs ago. In the middle of the pleasant pictures was the front page of the DMN Sports page dated Wed. April 6, 2011 titled, 1 and Only......A&M 76-70 ND. I am sad

We need to take Vic Schaeffer from t.u. It's the only way to properly repay them for Schlossnagle. Preferably before he wins a national title for them. BMAs need to get on this ASAP.

sorry we're not dropping 3 million to buyout Joni, then 4.5 million to buyout Vic, then turn around a pay vic 2.6 million if not more for the next 5 to 6 years.

now maybe we make run and make the sips pay him more just for spite.

again its real easy to tell other how to spend their money

Well, we've been played so many times for raises it's about time we get some payback.

Also I guess if I'm Vic why do I wanna come here and have to rebuild this mess, even with the portal. And i don't think there is anything we can offer better than what he's got.

He also has the number one recruiting class (maybe in history) coming in next year. 3 McDonald's All Americans, another 4 star, and they're also adding an international prospect who would most likely be another 5 star

So who do you take that money from, volleyball, MBB, softball. At some point the money isn't there. We're already losing more on WBB than anything else.

I actually think we'd be better off hiring much cheaper coach that can build a program thru the portal and international players, than trying to build thru HS ranks.

I'd be happy with that. Someone like Bucky with lots of drive and ambition that can bring in a staff that's hungry for success and chases and finds the best athletes he/she can.

He's an Aggie. Appeal to his sense of loyalty. Why wouldn't he want to work here for the same paycheck? Surrounded by decent people instead of having to deal with the slime of the cesspool.

Not to mention he would be an instant Aggie legend by pulling the rug out from under the sips, regardless of whether he ever wins a game here.
