We would need to come up with a couple of hundred thousand more for Fats to stay. Given her production last year, she is going to get paid well by someone. Nothing personal, this is just college basketball. It kind of sucks.

I understand that for sure; however, she already has a do not contact tag which means she's already found her new home (or she's staying but she's doing this for more money which is also understandable). If she's truly leaving, we have a coach that cannot hold on to talent, and she just has got to go.

It means year 5 and we will continue to lose. I can't blame her, but I'm absolutely shocked. She was the vocal leader of this team and it looked like she had a great relationship with the staff.

Hopefully she lands on a winning team with a competent coach

It's a phenomenon taking place right now, it seems almost everyone with an agent or represented by an agency is going into the portal. Thankfully for us we don't have many players who are good enough to have an agent. However one of the biggest agencies who have recently been signing people the past month or so and most seem to enter the portal is Fam Sports Empire. They also signed Janae Kent last month

Well Tenn Lady Vols lost their entire team - I think they have 1 left....with all the coaches on the merry go round the trans portal will stay loaded......that's how they negotiate their NIL worth.

Could see how she fits into Mulkey's style, but don't think she's fit in with that lineup… and starting or a lot of minutes won't be guaranteed. We'll see if she wants to be on a legitimate title contender and sacrifice those things or if she makes a lateral move to a place that will pay her
