We are remodeling our kitchen and are selecting a new faucet. Any recommendations? I like the semi-professional look with coils. Is any brand better than another?

Not sure if they have that look. But when we did our remodel we put in the Delta Touch faucet. I love it, pretty sure it'd be the first thing I did if we were to buy a house without one.

Ours is the Touch IQ, I think the IQ part is unnecessary, FWIW. If buying now I'd just go with the Touch.

Partly depends what color you want since some variations between brands but Delta, Kohler, Moen, and Brizo are all good choices.

We bought a Moen kitchen faucet from overstock.com for $180 11 years go. It started dripping 10 years later and Moen sent us free parts twice. The 3rd time they sent us an email with 3 choices that were similar to the now discontinued faucet. All were valued at ~$600 and we made a selection and they mailed us a free replacement faucet.

Their customer service was very good and I'd definitely recommend Moen to everyone.

We've bought a couple of Kohler Artifacts faucets.

They aren't cheap, but haven't found others that have a similar style and we wanted polished nickel.

So i received a Moen email today with closeout items.

These are the kind it items I like to buy.

I will agree, but it is not $136 either.

Touch faucet plus the Wi-Fi adapter from delta is great. I cook a lot so not needed if to measure water or get the faucet dirty with my hands is huge

My clients seem to like the Brizo Odin (link).

Don't get any off brands from Amazon. Anything sourced from China is likely to have a very high lead content.

We just bought a Kohler Alma with spray head & hooked it up. The aerator immediately started to sputter making a splashy stream. Figured no problem just take the aerator out, clean debris & put back together. Nope. You can't. I did contact them & they sent another head. It's better but it's hard to believe that you can't clean that part + there's no way to defeat the low flow mechanism. I'm going to try to take the old one apart to see if there's a way. I miss good water pressure.

Agreed. Wasn't worth the cost to change it at this current house which we've just finished remodeling to be a short-term rental.
