Had to replace 3 light fixtures recently, got estimate from one electrician for $189/ea. Found someone else less expensive, but wouldn't use again. Who do you recommend going forward?

Take down old light and put up new? Or add where none existed? Might be better off with a handy man. At least a one-man electrical shop with low overhead.

Unless it's 14' in the air or something most of the time it can be DIY'd.

Going this route next week to change a ceiling fan. Handyman instead of electrician.

i work for a large electrical contractor and one of our foreman (best guys) does stuff on the side. rather PM details if possible.

Honestly if they show up with the correct tools, finish the job from start to finish and do it correctly - $189 is a fair price.
