We got 2.26" in Alamo Heights-yeah!
3.25" off Babcock between Huebner and Prue
2" off of 281/Overlook
2.75" along Salado Creek just off of Nacogdoches.

Sizable. I've been seeing golf ball to 2" or bigger from NW San Antonio to Helotes. Im pretty much in these two locales doing inspections for the time being with referrals. This side of town has taken a bit of a beating this year.

Follow up of 2.4" at Blanco and Bitters. Puro San Antonio getting nearly 4 inches of rain in about a 5 hour duration. We screw up everything.

4.5 inches the first night, an additional 3" last night in Fair Oaks.
Over 6.5 inches this week in Stone Oak. Luckily no hail.
Best 2 day rain totals in over 7 years.

What I heard on the radio was that the flooding was at the creek at Perrin Beitel and IH 410, near the Academy.
We got about 3.5" at Alamo Heights
This is as of 7 am.
Pink is about 5-6" and blue is about 7-8".

When I looked at radar early last evening, it looked to me that we wouldn't get very much at all......I guess that's why I'm not a weatherman.

NWS says the airport received 5.87" between 00:51 and 06:51 this morning. Crazy part is that they received 3.98" in one hour between 02:51 and 03:51.
I looked at the radar at 11:00 and figured it would pass around us on the north side. Still got 3.5"

That looks a lot like the hail that hit us in Helotes back in 2014, but virtually all of them were that big, and they kept coming down for about 10 minutes straight through. Destroyed ALL the rooves in our neighborhood, and I mean destroyed.

With all that rain last night, Medina lake only rose .39 feet.

5.50" two-day total off Babcock between Huebner and Prue
9"+ just inside 1604 and south of Bandera. I think the official stuff is lower, but we had 6" in the rain gauge at about 2am. I emptied it and had another 3" in the morning. Had a river of ankle deep water running through the backyard.
ETA Aquifer is up 7' from before the rain Wednesday night. Almost 15' from 3 weeks ago

Planned to cook burgers and watch the US Open all day yesterday and had to rush out early to get them done before the rain started. Another 0.8 inches near Blanco/Bitters yesterday late afternoon. Wasn't even mentioned prior to that. Puts me at 9+ for these series of events. Good thing Jason got my roof taken care of earlier this year.

I went kayaking on the Guadalupe at Bergheim on Saturday and the river is painfully low. We're still a long way from getting back to normal.

Yeah, folks around here get excited when we get 6" of rain and everything fills up. Then 4 days later it's all dry again. It's going to take a long time to recover.
