I moved to the area and haven't found a personal doctor yet. I'm looking for recommendations for a good general practitioner in the NW SA or Boerne area.

I just jumped on board with a concierge doc for just $100/month and so far it has been very much worth it. He's in the Medical Ctr but we communicate via text or their app and he gets back to me very quickly. Seems like a better model than the "traditional" approach for whatever that's worth to you.

Dayani is actually in bulverde now. But worth the drive out from Boerne....

Our doc is going concierge soon- Junita Sprute w Jefferson Family Practice on Huebner. Been with her for 25 years. $150 month per person. Wife is sticking w her but I'm not.
She is awesome but can't see us paying $300 month when I only see her once a year. Need to find new PCP.

I see her too. I think you have to pay the $1800 up front. Is that right? I'm so torn on what to do about it. I have MS and so I have already spent $7k and reached max out of pocket for this year. I hate to spend another $1800 when I should be going to all MD appointments for $0 rest of the year. On the other hand, I value her expertise and experience. Ugh. They're all going to go this route eventually.

Yes. $1800 per person upfront. She really is great. I've been looking around and most good ones are already in that membership situation and more than $1800. Wife is staying with her and looks like I probably will also.
