Has anyone else had their TexAgs account locked recently?

I have been locked out 4 times in the past month. When I reach out to staff to clarify, I haven't gotten an answer (unless I'm missing it). The account gets unlocked by staff. Then it gets locked again; twice I haven't even posted anything new.

I see your three customer support cases. The first two were responded to immediately, so perhaps they are getting routed to your spam folder.

You appear to be using a VPN with a high number of IP addresses that have been flagged in our system.

We'll review the scoring this week, but I might advise trying a different service if you have one available.

Thanks! I will check my spam folder for future communications. I don't use a VPN though. I'm not sure how to even set one up.

I'm struggling to find the texags responses in my spam, but I'm sure they are there! This will be my last message in this thread so I don't spam the forum.


Reading up on this, I think safari has a new private relay feature that my phone has turned on. I suspect this was the issue. Thanks!

Not locked out but i'm suddenly being prompted to verify my email address when i open texags. An email is sent to me with a code to enter and i'm able to get in but just wondering why im suddenly getting this prompt as of a couple days ago.

In recent weeks we have released a number of upgrades designed to provide better security for users. This includes passkey support, MFA support, and additional threat evaluation. If the system is frequently prompting you to verify your account via email, there is likely account activity occurring beyond our expected range. We are still tweaking some of these parameters.

I'm getting daily requests to use verification codes to access the site even after resetting my password and creating a passkey. Just accessing via my iPhone and laptop like always. No VPN.

Ha. That's awesome. Yes, I exchanged emails about it over the last month or so and we tried to troubleshoot, but it didn't change the problem. Last passcode request I got was yesterday but I'll let y'all know here if keeps happening.

Can you give me a hint as to what was so unique about my usage pattern?

I do! Almost exclusively mobile version across all devices. Laptop, desktop, and phone.

Because people typically don't use more than one mobile device (excluding tablets), the new systems monitoring different account metrics flag this as questionable (believing you were using multiple mobile devices). We simply didn't anticipate the behavior, and we will adjust things appropriately.
