If the thread title didn't give it away, you're still in for a big surprise …
Howdy, TexAgs! It's great to hang with y'all again and bring in the fourth edition of Troubadour
Festival to Bryan-College Station.
The world's worst-kept secret is out: Troubadour Festival is moving to Midtown Park in Bryan.
We are grateful to Texas A&M for hosting us for three years and we will miss Aggie Park, but
we made the decision to move to Bryan for many reasons that ultimately will better the festival
and the experience we can offer to our guests.
Probably the most important reason: cooler weather.
The transition to Bryan allowed us to move the date to earlier in the Spring, in an attempt to
avoid the 95+ degree weather we experienced the last two years.
We also will be able to utilize more space to host more folks, execute our new BBQ concept
with bigger tent activations (more on that later), hold the event during school, and ultimately,
give us the ability to book the best lineup possible.
Speaking of lineups …

The poster says it all.
REK back in Aggieland. Flatland. So many more.
30 incredible Texas BBQ joints. Every restaurant on the list has a tie to a current or past Texas
Monthly Top 50 List, the Michelin Guide, or a James Beard Nomination (or even all three).
This year we're going to showcase the BBQ joints in five different larger tents, with each
featuring a different theme in Texas BBQ: Meat Church & Friends, 44 Farms Beef, South
of the Border, Hogs Wild, and Wild Card (anything goes). Each tent will have six BBQ
joints, with each cooking to the theme. We launched this concept at our Celina festival in
November and it was a huge success.
I'm biased, but this is the most excited I've been for a Troubadour Festival in a minute. And it's
one of my favorite lineups I've booked in my career.
There's more than just the festival in 2026!
We're teaming up with our friends at Destination Bryan to bring back the Official Pre-Party the
night before the festival (March 27th) at The Palace Theater in Downtown Bryan.
It's a FREE show and we're bringing one of my personal favorites: American Aquarium along
with Shelby Stone.
The day after the festival on March 29th, we're doing our first-ever Sunday BBQ Brunch back at
The Palace for what's going to be a truly special day to end the weekend.
We'll have a Texas BBQ brunch buffet catered by Bar-A-BBQ (a Texas Monthly Top 50 Joint)
in Montgomery, a build-your-own Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar, special giveaways, and an
acoustic performance by the legendary Jason Boland, celebrating the best of 25 years of
Jason Boland and the Stragglers.
Talk about the ultimate Texas BBQ & Music weekend, right?
Important info to know (dates, tickets, links, etc.)!
please feel free to comment below and I'll be happy to help. I'll be back with more information
and ticket giveaways soon.
Cheers!
