The announcer referred to Griffen as a junior I am guessing he was confused or I misunderstood
I think the 2 committed recruits are Nick Mundey and Josh Irving. Both 4*'s. I'm confused with regard to if Mundey is already here and was redshirted or not here yet.
So that's 12 players assuming no transfers out and Hill gets approved I think . Room for 3 more assuming everyone currently here and incoming are scholarship players .

Oh ok. I saw Travis Normand or someone say they expected it but it wasn't final.
The real question of the people that could be back who will be back. You would have to assume a few will leave and bucky will portal in some new players.
I predict we return Mgbako, Hill, Clemence, Dominguez, and Holloway out of our current rotation. Feels like Isaacs and Vinson will probably look to the portal. I hope that Green stays on the team as I think he has a bright future, and I bet McDermott stays as well. We are also bringing into two 4-star top 100 recruits from high school. That would leave us with 6 open spots for Bucky to work his portal magic.
Why would Isaacs transfer other than the obvious … more money?

I don't have any inside info, so it's just a hunch. I don't think he's loved coming off the bench for the first time in his career and playing the fewest minutes per game of his career. I would absolutely love it if he came back though, so I hope I'm wrong.
I think the end of this season probably makes pop be less concerned about minutes he got in Dec/Jan.

I hope so and I also would like to see Vinson stick around although I'm not sure his 3 point shot ends up fitting the system that well. But he is a pretty athletic big man which does.
As long as we have Chris McDermott back then i am not worried, Bucky has shown he can construct a competitive roster around this key piece.

Pop was coming off an injury, so it was hard for him to start at the beginning.
He is 100% healthy and you can see a different Pop Isaacs now!
He has earned being one of the starters moving forward.
I think we need to get some height somewhere, either here or Europe.
Need a 7 footer or two, just wishful thinking!

Yep, need two experienced big men to go with Clements and MBako, one of whom can shoot > 30% from 3,. plus one slashing small forward that can shoot from range.
Assuming Pop stays he will be a starter next year imo.
I think you could make a case that 4 of the five starter spots are wrapped up for next yr at least at the beginning of the season and also assuming Hill gets another yr
Clemence, Mgbako, Pop and Hill would be my guess. Maybe Dominguez as well but that's a small lineup and not particularly quick footed and not great on the boards. Having said all that with Buckyball I dunno how important the "starters" are as opposed to the 10-11 deep roster .
We need a wing ( or two) that is a great overall player both ways and just like everyone we need a guard that can reliably shoot threes , attack the rim, and not be a defensive liability. We also need rim protectors

I am pulling for trying to get Magoon Gwath from San Diego State - with at least two more years of eligibility left. He is from Euless, Texas and is a 7-footer who can shoot the three!

Hopefully we're not taking everyone back, or we'll be in the same situation next year. Need room for more high-level transfers.

That's true but imo he will get plenty of minutes next year here and one thing I see from him is he wants to win. I suppose if someone comes calling that he feels like he can get a combo of more wins/better tourney exposure and more minutes that would be a real concern and that's not out of the question for sure.
