It's as good a hand as we could expect to get
Year 1 I'm ecstatic we're in, we got a great first round game and a win there and I'll be running up and down my street in Aggie gear! The second round matchup was always going to be tough regardless of who we play. We've struggled against elite teams aside from Tennessee and Bama.

Just making the tourney was exceeding expectations. We are playing with house money now. Any tourney wins are a double bonus.
We have a decent shot at a first round win and maybe a punchers chance beyond that. There are some teams we just can't beat with this roster.

If we win one I'll be ecstatic. We are a very flawed team that greatly overachieved. This is the least optimistic I am about our chances of making the 2nd weekend in the last 4 years. Our inability to rebound is going to kill us.

The first game is going to be very tough too.
St. Mary's is big, really good rebounders and defenders and take care of the ball. We've not fared well against teams like that this season.

It is late... the team needs to learn how to sustain a lead when they are ahead.
The game can turn around in just a few minutes or less. Sometimes, A&M
has been the team to turn it around but often they were not in the conference
games.
The team has good players. Just pass the ball effectively, get up court quickly, and take a
2 if a 3 isn't available. Stop blowing lay-ups and make free throws.
A&M has a better than average bench. I am impressed by the strength coming off
the bench during the season.

Not a good matchup. Their top scorer is a 6'8" forward who can shoot the 3 a bit. They are 7'2" and 6'8" at the 5 and 4. They shoot the 3 better than we do, and they are a better rebounding team.
Is expect to lose by 8-10 the way we've been playing lately. We're 4-6 in our last 10 games, and have been blown out in 4 of the losses. Played 1 great game in the last 10. We've beaten 1 good team since February 1; triple overtime against a bad LSU team, barely got by a bad Ole Miss team, and got by an average OU team.
We are not trending the right way.

Well when you feel good about a matchup we'll know we're really cooked.
Nail bitter in first round. 50/50 game.
If you get to Houston, it gets grim. Our only chance is to shoot out of our minds, early in the game.

Teams that got blasted by Penn state was poorly coached and not that good.
Unlike buzz or BK teams Bucky has gotten every bit of talent and effort out of this team.

If we shoot like we did the first 5 minutes of the Georgia game i think we will win it all.
Agree just making it in year one with what coach was able to pull together is incredible. It's all really gravy from here

It's a testament to Bucky and the team no players here and we made it with our best player on paper hurt.

We were embarrassed by Penn st so I guess yes not that good
15-3 team that was a 7 seed got blasted by a 500 big ten team with 14 losses. So yes not a good A&M team under coached by buzz.
I'm excited we made it in year one with Buckyball. This is playing with house money we won't be outcoached as is the case in previous trips with Buzz and Bk.
By now you should know that anything can happen during any tournament game. Every team that made the tourney is good so you can expect every teams best game. That being said, if you cant hit the side of the barn, chances are youre going home. Defense wins ball games but sometimes teams get hot and cant miss in the 1st few rounds. The teams that make the elite 8 are mostly teams that have very few flaws.
With just about every team we have taken to the tournament, our defense has been our greatest strength. This team was built differently and has a style that can make a run in the tournament if we make our shots. This is what makes this year's team both exciting and a mystery.

I think if we get to the 32, we'll play pretty loose against Houston. I give us decent odds to a S16- maybe 1 in 3.
