After watching all of the highlights I can find of these guys, I'm confident this is going to be a top notch backcourt.
We didn't have anyone last year with the size, ball handling and vision to get in the paint and score or create for others.
Both of these guys look like serious players…and they can shoot.
They're both older, 21 for Warren and 22 for Haggerty. Very optimistic about this backcourt.
I like the looks or Archie too. These three and the lsu kid Reece all look capable of handling the ball against pressure. Makes me think about that buzz team what 5 years ago where Andre Gordon was our very best ball handler…yikes
I like the looks of the 6'8" wing Shelley also. His shot looks good even though his 3 point % isn't stellar. He can get to the rim, plus rebounder for a 3.
Get some scoring from Mgbako and clemence up front and toughness on the boards from Phillips and I'm feeling very good about the team.
