Agree with that he's fast and got power. They've got to fix his swing, I used to think Adam Dunn is a comparison but don't think he's gonna hit 500 HR's.

Yes but baseball in the minors is not so much about winning games as working through approaches and correcting holes in one's swing for position players. In other words, he'll still have the pressure of needing to perform overall since this is now his career but no longer the pressure of necessarily having to be the man, well at least until he gets to the Show. Falling to a good team with an excellent culture of accepting players with a get it done attitude like the Astros might not be the worst thing to have happened to Jace.

I'm a Rangers fan but loved the Space City city jersey (worked at Johnson at one point) and they were clearing them at Daikan for $50 bucks during the spring classic this year. Guess I just will add Jace to that if he makes the Show!!!

Not immediately. Jace had a huge burden to carry the team with the preseason expectations, home run record, all of the injuries to key contributors, and wanting to play for his rookie coach. Now he just plays and gets coached. The minors are boring compared to high level college baseball. Small crowds, lots of teammates coming and going, and endless number of games with more focus on individual performance than team performance. Very different than playing for diehard Aggies who he likes.
