Now that I know the tournament is only next week and she'll be back soon, GIG'EM IFENNA!

1st match and it's a sweep over the Dominican Republic. Ifenna had 7 kills, 2 blocks, and an ace!

She had 1 ace all year last season. She had a couple against SMU in the spring and one today! If she has that in her arsenal this season.. then woah woah woah

According to VolleyTalk she was serving very hard out there!! This is amazing to hear! Her hair was also serving out there too apparently, but that's no surprise

She was dominant at times. She plays with such intensity.

I don't know too much about MBs but she mis-read several attacks either going to the wrong side or late getting to the block. Not sure if it was because the blocking scheme was different or maybe the Mexico team was running a very quick tempo attack. I think probably the latter as it seems their setter was able to conceal where she was targeting until the last second. nevermind, I don't know what I'm talking about

Regardless, she did really well and could have done even better if she had more time playing with this team.
