This team has a huge task ahead, but I don't want to lose sight of how big last nights win was.

Beating Louisville catapults us into elite territory as a program and I'm so proud of these young ladies for it. In volleyball, it's rare for elite programs to lose to a team not in the upper echelon of teams. We have been knocking on that door for a while and tonight these girls blew the door wide open. We've known Jamie was the real deal but tonight it was shown we won't buckle on the big stage.

Congrats to the team and coaches and let's go BTHONebraska!

A historic win for this program!! While the team moves their attention to Nebraska, we can still celebrate! It's year 3 and look at where this program is! The accomplishments, the growing fan support and interest. In Morrison's first ever collegiate head coaching gig. Bjork and Kristen Brown really did this school and community wonders with this hire! I'm so thankful for this staff and this team!

Louisville did lose their head coach and some great players, but they returned an All American and grabbed one of the best players in the portal. They were an injury away from possibly winning it all last year. They've been to three of the last four final fours and to two national championships.

Recruits noticed, portal players noticed. We are building something legendary here in Aggieland! We're just getting started!

And speaking of elite category, I'm glad we earned it. It wasn't handed to us or earned easily, we fought for it and took it ourselves!

And everyone sees us losing 9 seniors, but I want to stay in that elite category. We have some excellent freshman who have been learning from this senior group about what it takes to win. We have some excellent freshman coming in next year. We'll also have room for about 4 or 5 transfers as well. Let's swing big and reload! Who wouldn't want to play and develop under Jamie Morrison. Teams all over the country are falling apart or being wildly inconsistent, we have an amazing staff, a great program, great results of development, a coach with USA and international experience, we are absolutely going to reload in the portal and stay elite.

Huge Aggie fan since 1986 but very casual in volleyball. This team has pulled me in and I love watching them play. Amazing energy and grit. Seem to truly love one another and coach and play their tails off for one another. This is what being a team is all about. I'm so proud to see the ladies represent A&M and themselves in such a positive way. BTHO Nebraska!

I was at a restaurant last night and the game was on TV. I saw us blow a couple of nice leads in the first two sets and was pleasantly surprised late last night to see that we won the match. Program is definitely on the right path!

Always liked the morrison hire. this was the 3rd match ive watched this year. I think it may be a little too intense for my ticker. not sure how the olds can do it.

That's what Morrison says about volleyball as a spectator sport. If people give it a chance, you'l fall in love with it. No matter how well you play, the score resets to zero for the next set and do it again. not much dead time waiting around. Crazy momentum shifts. I love it.

My niece played volleyball at Ole Miss. She knows all about Coach Morrison. She said the day we hired him, "man you guys are gonna be big time and it'll be quick". Damned if she didn't know exactly what was coming.

Keep going ladies. We believe. How could you NOT now?

Great win...monumental!!

What was the NU HC saying...that NU lost their starting Libero (right, that's what that back middle, setter/dig position) 5 min before the match (player stepped on a VB and was in a boot and shocked the team)? Then that they had to play a freshman (implying why those 1st 2 sets didn't go their way and the aces, etc)? Or was that in relation to a different match and game?

Oh no, they lost one of their pin hitters. She played very sparingly. Her name was Allie Sczech, who coincidentally grew up on the same street as Logan Lednicky lol

im a young and it's a rollercoaster. Conference games are usually fun and easy, but these big time matches involves a lot of having to step out to breathe and relax! My poor tv may have to hear some vulgar language from time to time!
