The Texas State 7-on-7 Tournament begins today at Veteran's Park in College Station. In terms of prospects on the A&M radar in the upcoming senior class, this is as light of a field as I can ever remember. Still, our team will be on sight throughout the weekend to get a look at the names that are on Mike Elko's big board as well as the players that are beginning to emerge on recruiting radars across the region. The small schools start this morning at 10 am. Texas A&M coaches continue to hit the road this week. In Texas, today is going to have a little East Texas flavorThe Aggies offered Longview (TX) WR phenom Jaden Hurndon (6-2, 185) and are making their way from the DFW area east. I'm also hearing there are plans for in-homes in Carthage today.Kaufman and Crandall are home to a couple of WR targets with 2026 Aljour Miles at Kaufman and 2027 Jeremiah Douglas at Crandall. Tyler is home to a couple of top 27s with offers in WR Trey Haralson (Tyler High) and OL DeMarrion Johnson (Legacy), and of course Gilmer is home to 2027 OL standout Ismael Camara.Then in Carthage there is the standout 2026 duo that is RB KJ Edwards and LB DaQuives Beck. Both Beck and Edwards visited this spring, already have June OVs scheduled for Texas A&M, and are eyeing preseason decisions.

The February signing period is in the past as the 2026 recruiting class is taking center stage with new prospects emerging all over the state of Texas. It is time to take a look at the latest happenings in the Lone Star state on the recruiting front.
