TexAgs' recruiting analyst Jason Howell joined TexAgs Live on Wednesday morning for another edition of Recruiting Country presented by American Momentum Bank, highlighting the latest news and notes from the recruiting trail surrounding Texas A&M.

Texas A&M hosted a few top prospects from California on Friday, including a few recent offers. All are part of Team Toa who competed at the OT7s in Dallas over the weekend. Long Beach (CA) Poly 2027 cornerback Donte Wright (6-1, 170) received his Texas A&M offer at the end of January, and Friday was his first visit to College Station."I loved the Texas A&M visit," Wright said. "I love the defensive schemes they run, and overall it was a great trip."In addition to the Aggies, Wright holds offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado State, Oregon, and Penn State. In addition to football he also competes on the track where he is a member of one of the top 4x100m teams in the country. Like Wright, Friday was also his first visit to College Station, and the Aggies made a strong impression. I know they have a great coaching staff over there and I want to keep striving and hopefully I can schedule a visit back over there soon."Watching defensive backs coach Jordan Peterson, Mack was able to get a first hand view of his coaching style. "They're great," Mack said. "They produce a lot of great corners. I just know they know what they're doing."Mack's offer list also includes Arizona, Cal, Miami, Sacramento State, and UCLA. Equipped with an 80-inch wingspan, Mack is a multi-sport standout.
