Playoff Picture: SEC personalities talk committee, schedule strength

Meetings continued on Wednesday, shifting the topic to the upcoming playoff. While the SEC reigns as undisputed king, will 2014 bring change? Mike Slive, Eric Hyman, Kevin Sumlin and others weighed in.

The four-team college football playoff that arrives in 2014 will decide who’s No. 1.

Yet, Southeastern Conference commissioner Mike Slive is concerned about who decides who’s numbers one, two, three and four.

Slive has instructed SEC athletic directors to submit to him recommendations for selection committee candidates by Friday. The selection committee is expected to include 15 to 20 members.
