No. 2 quarterback: I’m trying to think back and it’s been quite a few years since the A&M backup quarterback position was this unsettled heading into fall camp. Last year, it was whoever didn’t win the Johnny Manziel-Jameill Showers competition. Before that, Showers was the clear No. 2 behind Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill backed up Jerrod Johnson, Jerrod backed up Stephen McGee and McGee was the clear-cut reserve behind Reggie McNeal.
