Texas A&M's athletic director voiced his reaction to the release of the 2014 conference football schedule on Wednesday, pointing out the positives of LSU on Thanksgiving, discussing South Carolina and much more.

On his overall thoughts on the schedule for 2014…
“Pretty tough, to say the least. South Carolina, opening up the season at their place, it’s a tough challenge. But I am ecstatic about LSU, being able to play on Thursday of Thanksgiving. No matter what in the SEC, you've got a tough schedule, so the teams we play ... it’s a balanced schedule, but we've got our challenges in front of us. Opening the season in Williams-Brice Stadium is going to be a handful for us — for any team.
