Two years ago, Matt Davis made the decision to attend Texas A&M.

He not only verbally committed to play for then-head coach Mike Sherman, who would later be replaced by Kevin Sumlin, but he also began learning the culture and traditions of being an Aggie.

Through interviews and public interaction, Davis represented the core values of the Aggie way of life and found a way to lead others.

The hardest thing was shaking everyone's hand and telling them bye.
