Apparently, Nick Saban needed nine months to prepare.

Eight months of scheming, plotting and planning did the Alabama football coach absolutely no good. Indeed, if Saban had only seven months, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel might have doubled the 562 yards of total offense he produced Saturday afternoon at Kyle Field.
