The Aggies put up 41 points, but left several off the board; they almost overcame the defense, but wasted its four consecutive stops. There's a wealth of good in A&M's offense, but tweaks are needed to fix the bad.

Manziel, Evans' heroics can't overcome other struggles

What went right: Were it not for Johnny Manziel missing the final play of one drive (a third-and-goal from the two-yard line) and two other full drives in the fourth quarter, the Aggies probably not just win the game but also top 50 points.

As it was, A&M scored 41 in an SEC game for the second straight week and racked up over 600 yards of total offense.
