Relying heavily on unknown players, Texas A&M used a 26-4 run to break open a close game and post an emphatic 82-58 victory over Buffalo in the college basketball season-opener before 4,969 on Friday night at Reed Arena.

The Aggies got major contributions from several newcomers, including redshirt freshman Shawn Smith and sophomore Antwan Space, and junior Jordan Green.
