What the 88,000 in attendance — plus a national television audience — witnessed on Saturday evening will endure throughout time as one of the most memorable games in Texas A&M’s storied history. Not because the Aggies beat a now 4-5 Mississippi State team in a game that featured over 1,100 yards of combined offense and 92 points, and not because the win was the program’s 700th all-time.
