Preseason dreams of a BCS bowl or more are gone, rendering Saturday's game a contest for pride for Texas A&M. Yet, with a second straight double-digit win season still in play, are the team's spirits all there?

Anger, frustration and even panic were the dominant emotions in College Station following Texas A&M’s 34-10 loss LSU last week.

But coach Kevin Sumlin said his team didn’t exhibit those emotions. Rather, that was the reaction of College Station residents.

“I drive through here at a gas station and it’s like the sky’s falling around here,” Sumlin said on Tuesday. “We lost to LSU on the road as an underdog — the first time we’ve lost by double digits (in Sumlin's tenure).
