Missouri 28, Texas A&M 21: Defense in review

The Aggies' season met a disheartening end in Columbia, but the blame could not fall on the defense's shoulders. In putting on its best performance of the season, the unit shed rays of hope going forward.

In what was easily the Ags’ best defensive effort of the season, A&M held a pretty explosive and extremely balanced Missouri offense in check for nearly four full quarters before finally giving up a game-winning 57-yard touchdown run to Henry Josey with 3:34 remaining.

Of course, it’s tough to say that the Aggie D allowed the ‘game-winner’ when the unit played what should have been winning football throughout what turned out to be an actual defensive slugfest.
