Three-year award streak ends for Aggies

Four Aggies headed to the College Football Awards with legitimate hopes of receiving major awards, but none were chosen. It was Texas A&M's first time without a national award winner since the 2009 season.

LAKE BUENA VISTA , Fla. – While Texas A&M aims to continue a streak of bowl victories later this month, another A&M streak came to an end Thursday night at the College Football Awards show.

For the first time in four years an Aggie was not presented a prestigious individual national award, even though four A&M players were considered for five awards at the Atlantic Dance Hall at the Disney World Boardwalk Resort.
