The Aggies are closing the gap.

And they’re doing so in a hurry.

The gap that I’m referring to, of course, is exactly what Kevin Sumlin referred to a year ago at this time. While introducing a top-10 class on Signing Day 2013, Sumlin talked about how, despite the fact that Texas A&M was coming off of a breakthrough, 11-2 season and welcoming 33 highly-regarded signees to campus, the emerging SEC power still wasn’t close to where it needed to be.
