1. A&M used an inside/out approach to defending the Bulldogs. In doing so they completely shut down the paint and made MSU score from the perimeter. In the first matchup of the season between these two teams, Mississippi State attacked the basket and was the aggressor on offense. In A&M's victory last night the Ags outscored the Dawgs 40-14 in the paint and didn't allow any easy baskets.
