Led by Long, Aggies blank Sacramento State to take series

Grayson Long took the mound with the series in the balance on Sunday and delivered his second straight scoreless, seven-inning performance to open the season. The Aggies coasted to a 5-0 win to move to 6-1.

Following its first setback of the young season on Friday night, Texas A&M won a 7-5 decision against Sacramento State on Saturday and came back to deal the knockout blow on Sunday.
