As we in Texas know all too well, the end of spring is followed by weeks of blazingly hot temperatures.

Likewise, the end of spring football is typically followed by weeks of blazingly hot discussion.

The 143 days between now and Texas A&M’s 2014 football season opener at South Carolina are sure to be filled with debate, conjecture, speculation and angst about what the upcoming season may hold.

Of course, we don’t truly know.

So, instead let’s focus on what we do know.
