Spring surprises

Zaycoven Henderson: So how important does Henderson’s mid-January flip from Texas to A&M look now? The 6-2, 315-pound interior lineman impressed S&C coaches and teammates alike throughout January and February with his engaging personality, work ethic and exploits in the weight room. In March the true freshman from Longview put on a helmet and shoulder pads and, lo and behold, was even better on the field than in offseason workouts.
