Texas A&M's jersey legacies: The 20s

As the list descends in number, so do the names descend into rarefied air. The latest edition of TexAgs' countdown of the most memorable Aggies to don each number includes several of A&M's best players.

Optometrists agree that 20/20 is the standard of great vision.

But it doesn’t take great eyesight to see that some of the best football players in Texas A&M history wore numbers in the 20s.

The 20 series typically is reserved for running backs and defensive backs, though an occasional linebacker or receiver might surface, too. A&M has produced a load of All-Americans and high NFL Draft choices at those positions.
