* We played A&M in New York one year, and besides that we always knew the history and traditions of A&M. I’ll be honest with you, I didn’t realize how much A&M really had, from facilities to student base size.
 
* In coaching, I don’t know how many true, true friends you had but I’ve known Billy as a person/coach for 20-25 years. I’ve always had a lot of respect for him as a person. As good as he is as a coach, he’s a better person.
