Strange as it may seem, there are rumblings of discontent in Starkville.

Some are losing patience with Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen, even though he’s guided the Bulldogs to four bowl appearances in his five years there and is already fourth among the program’s winningest coaches.

Yet, cowbell-ringing Mississippi State fans want more. Much more.

Mullen just might be able to deliver more this year.
