A&M QB Kenny Hill vs. SC Defensive Coordinator Lorenzo Ward
Ward finds himself in an interesting spot heading into Thursday night’s opener. He has the unenviable task to attempting to stop A&M’s explosive offense, but he doesn’t have to game plan for Johnny Manziel or Mike Evans. Instead, he gets a first-time starter at quarterback — yet he’s going to battle with very little experience at two of the three levels of his defense. 

Then again, Ward has been here before.
