Texas A&M 38, Rice 10: Offense in review

A sorely disappointing opening possession signaled the Aggie offense's less-than-impressive night, but 38 points and four-for-four in the red zone are difficult to argue with. A&M will take learning material to SMU.

It didn't feel like it at times, but the Aggie offense was pretty productive on Saturday night. The biggest (and only) reason A&M's offensive production appeared down to the casual
observer was the fact that Rice controlled the ball, hogging nearly 45 minutes of clock.

Despite holding the ball for less than 17 minutes, the Ags scored 38 points, were a perfect 4-of-4 in the red zone, averaged a very healthy 8.1 yards per play and protected the
football.
