1. Dak Prescott, Mississippi State, QB: Prescott has to be the unquestioned frontrunner after leading the Bulldogs to the No. 1 spot in the national polls. He is ranked among the nation’s top 10 in passing efficiency, points responsible for and total offense. He’s passed for 1,478 yards and rushed for 576 yards for one of the six undefeated teams.

Last week: Completed 18 of 34 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-23 victory over Auburn.
