• Saturday night’s outcome falls (almost) entirely on the Aggie offense. The defense gave up 21 total points, stopped Ole Miss on the game-opening drive, gave the offense a chance to take an early lead to ignite a 110,000-strong crowd and came out after halftime and pitched a shutout for the first fourteen minutes of the third quarter.

The Aggie offense could have and should have made things VERY interesting during that period — but never managed to do so.
