Each week of the college football season TexAgs’ Olin Buchanan will reveal how he would rank the top five contenders. The rankings reflect how he would vote if the Heisman ballots were due that day. Buchanan has been a Heisman Trophy voter since 1993.

Week 10 Heisman rankings

1. Marcus Mariota, Oregon, QB: The competition was suspect, but Mariota is coming off one of his best performances of the season.  Mariota has passed for 2,283 yards and rushed for 325.
