Raise your hand if you thought 59-0 was rock bottom.

Things came uncomfortably close to getting worse for Kevin Sumlin and Texas A&M football on Saturday at Kyle Field when, for most of the game, the Aggies looked like they were honoring the 4-8 teams from 2003 or 2008 and not the 1939 national championship squad.

Those teams – under first-year head coaches – struggled to put away vastly inferior opponents at home. Those teams played 11 a.m.
