Texas A&M's late entrance into the race for the 2015 Mesquite Poteet athlete seemed likely to hinder the Aggies' chances, but McNeal seeks a place that feels like home. His visit may have showed him just that.

Texas A&M played host to one of the state's best athletes this weekend while the Aggies took on ULM. McNeal only recently picked up an A&M offer with a big performance in front of A&M coach Kevin Sumlin early last month.

Though the Ags had a lackluster performance on the football field Saturday, they still managed to really impress McNeal with everything they have to offer.

“The weekend was great," McNeal said.
