Final Frustration: Officiating headlines home loss to LSU

None will argue the Aggies deserved to win Thursday night's 23-17 clunker. They had a chance, however — one taken away in the game's closing minutes. Now A&M will turn to a bowl game and offseason questions.

Football coaches don't blame officials for a loss. At least, they don’t publicly.

Do that and they’re labeled whiners or accused of making excuses. Further, they get fined thousands of dollars.

Instead, coaches typically just bite their lips and go on.

Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin might be gnawing on his lip until December after a 23-17 loss to LSU on Thanksgiving night.
